Nervous about your first time in the OR? Here are my own personal tips to help you look like a seasoned pro: 🏥 1️⃣. Write your name on the whiteboard as soon as you walk into the room. Make sure you introduce yourself to ALL the OR staff: not just the surgeons/ scrub techs! 2️⃣. If it’s your first time in the OR or your first time scrubbing in, tell EVERYONE. I know that seems overboard, but don’t be shy! Tell EVERYONE it’s your first time. People should be helpful, but it’s safer for everyone
