We had someone reach out about how to perform a clam or clamshell exercise so here you go!! 🎉 Truthfully, we don't prescribe or perform this exercise very often at OPAL because it's often performed incorrectly and there are other exercises we like better for targeting glute medius. That being said, to perform a clamshell correctly you have to master moving the hip without moving the low back (aka Movement Principle #4) and we are all about that.
