Bus Compressor 2 offers the classic SSL G-comp mix bus glue but can do a whole lot more thanks to new Attack/Release times, Compression ratios, built in Wet/Dry, and S/C HPF… In this demo we use the classic 2:1 compression ratio, S/C HPF set to 185 Hz to stop low frequency content triggering the comp, 20ms Attack to retain transients whilst clamping down and renowned ‘Auto’ Release to make the mix sound bigger, with more coherence between sounds.
